I work as…
And Operations Manager of HUONE Copenhagen, which means that I’m leading the operations team and work closely with the restaurant manager and the head chef. Each day’s goal is to execute smooth operations with thorough planning and detailed execution. I want to make sure the flow of the day is running seamlessly, so our customers get the best day here at HUONE.
The most unique thing about HUONE is…
The rooms; goal of the meeting rooms at HUONE is to challenge people in order to release their creative energy unconventionally. We want to break the norm of boring meeting rooms and change the perspective in terms of meeting space.
My favourite room at HUONE is…
Puzzle Room! This room welcomes you to many different perspectives as you walk into it. I love the tools you can use in the room; as you can write on the walls. I also like the setting of the room with the swing and stools. When I had my first meeting here, we started the meeting in the chairs, but ended up on the floor. That’s what I love so much: there are no rules in Puzzle!
(Puzzle Room in HUONE Copenhagen is one of the most popular rooms)
If I were to design a room for HUONE…
I would design a room called “Pioneer room“. The goal of the room should be to show people there are no limits when it comes to your ambitions. I would have a timeline that should include all the greatest innovators of our time including Thomas Edison, Marie Curie, and Steve Jobs. All inspiring people. Then I would add the timeline with ‘present’ and put a mirror. So whoever is looking into the mirror can feel more empowered and ready to take action!
Working for HUONE has taught me…
The importance of teamwork and creating a strong bond with my colleagues. They also inspire me to be better and do more.
My secret talent is…
My positive mindset. I have had great mentors, and one of the many things I’ve learned is a very powerful saying: “feel the fear, and do it anyway“. That is something I have in the back of my mind every day. I try to get the best outcome from things I’m part of.
Three words that make me smile
- Equality: this word represents one of my personal values – I believe no one should have poor life chances because of the way they are born, where they are from or what they believe.
- Family
- Happiness.
